Brontosaurus Dinosaur EggMore commonly referred to as "Apatosaurs" by scientist, it was one of the largest land animals that ever existed. It did not chew its food but swallowed stones to help grind it up. The Brontosaurus was discovered in 1879 in Como Bluff, Wyoming. primarily it held its neck low for browsing or ground feeding but had a long tail which helped to provide balance for its very long neck. The tail was probably held aloft and could be swung back and forth to help attackers.
